There are many exciting places to visit. These include Nicosia where you can learn about the "Green Line" dividing the capital, the Troodos Mountains for breathtaking views of the island (be prepared for deep snow in winter)and Kykkos Monastry. These are all day trips from the villa and car hire is strongly recommended in order to explore the area more fully. Driving is on the left as in the UK and the main roads and motorways are very good. Smaller more rural routes can be challenging! Excellent shopping and of course renowned archeological sites are plentiful.

Several restaurants, a new supermarket and a popular English delicatessen are 5 mins walk from the villa and a 5 min drive will bring you to the lively square of Tala Village itself. Here there are a number of local bars and restaurants, often hosting Greek evenings. The beautiful sandy beach at Coral Bay is a 10 min drive. Coral Bay is a lively resort with many restaurants and bars. The modern shopping area of Paphos Town centre and the famous harbour area of Kato Paphos are also 10 mins drive from the villa.
