The Villa was built for the 2008 season and was loved by all who stayed there last year. The villa is fully furnished with comfortable seating for 4 adults inside or out in the living, dining and patio areas. There is satellite TV showing the main UK channels in addition to about 50 other channels, a DVD player if you wish to bring DVD's and also a Bose sound-dock to play your ipod. As it is built on a sloping site the villa is entered at first floor level. There is an open plan staircase down to the very spacious living / dining area. The open plan kitchen, fully equipped with fridge, freezer, oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine adjoins this room. The master bedroom with large double bed and ensuite shower room is a mezzanine floor partially above this area and there is a further twin bedroom and house bathroom on the upper floor. There are South facing doors opening onto the comfortably furnished, very private patio and pool area with sun loungers for lazy days, a table and chairs for al fresco dining and a large parasol for when the sun is a little too strong

The Cathar Way long distance footpath passes through Durban Corbieres and explores allthe main Cathar sites or for the less ambitious there are a multitude of walks through the vineyards enjoying the scents of the juniper, wild thyme, rosemary and lavender which grow in the wild garrigae landscapes of the region. An unmissable Languedoc experience is to walk, boat or cycle along the tree lined Canal du Midi which passes just a few miles from Durban Corbieres. The more active can find everything from tennis to kite surfing on the lagoons at Leucate. As little as 70 miles away is the Pyrenean ski centre of Formigueres which has an enviable reputation for reliable snow and beautiful sunny weather.
